Submitting Routine Work Order Requests (FIXit) in Residence Halls
FIXit is the way to initiate a request for repairs and maintenance within residence hall student rooms and common areas. FIXit is available 24/7 and is easy to use: login using your NetID and password which is your Colonial Mail login and password (a @gwu.edu email address).
Residential Property Management (RPM) oversees the maintenance of GW’s residence halls and strives to ensure the overall satisfaction of students residing in University housing. Toward that end, RPM:

monitors the physical condition of resident hall buildings, furniture and appliances;

and manages the provision and distribution of all resident hall keys.
Key Depots for Replacement Keys:
As part of its responsibilities for residence halls, RPM operates Key Depots on Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon campuses to provide replacement keys in the event of lost or stolen room and mailbox keys, or room lockouts.
