The central repository for the University’s building and land use information, building drawings, and space data is the GW Property Information Resource Center (PIRC) which is managed by Facilities Planning. The PIRC fulfills this mission by collecting, organizing, cataloging, preserving, and providing efficient access to documents and data. In addition, the PIRC provides research and analysis on a variety of building and land uses.
The PIRC is essential in the University’s efforts to preserve its past and effectively plan for the future. Its collections document the history of the University’s built environment and provide critical background material for campus planning, new construction projects, and the renovation of University facilities.
